Jim Donius is President and CEO of Marketplace Measurement Worldwide, a global marketing intelligence agency he founded in 1991. MMWW is a past winner of the coveted David Ogilvy Award for Research Excellence.

Jim’s executive experience includes Senior Vice-President, Group Head of Research and Planning at MasterCard Worldwide, Executive Vice-President at Yankelovich Partners , Senior Vice-President at NW Ayer and Vice-President at Information Resources Inc. His early background includes managerial positions at General Foods, J. Walter Thompson and Booz Allen & Hamilton, Inc.

Jim is also involved in the marketing research industry. He is a member of the prestigious Market Research Council and the Research Policy Committee of both the Association of National Advertisers and the Ad Council.. He is the former Director of Research at the Advertising Research Foundation and has served on the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of Advertising Research. He is a past President of the Copy Research Council and Executive Member of the Board of Directors of the American Marketing Association, New York Chapter.

Author of the Association of National Advertiser’s publication, Marketplace Measurement, he conducts the ANA research seminar for marketing executives. In addition, he serves as a visiting professor of marketing at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Silberman College of Business.

Jim received his Ph.D with honors from the International School of Management (ISM) in Paris. His master’s degree is from the State University of New York at Buffalo where he was a research fellow at the University’s Survey Research Center. His baccalaureate degree is from the University of Notre Dame where he was selected to write the senior honor thesis.
